This decorative concrete patio in League City Tx (South Houston) has a 4" gravel base with 3" of compacted sand and white portland cement mixed base for unilateral support for this 86,318 pound flagston stamped concrete patio with bricksforms awesome gemseal. Picture seen above doesn't have the gemseal application just yet....(had to get the customer to stop drooling over her new custom backyard patio pool deck)
This mammoth sized london cobblestone stamped concrete driveway was installed just south of Houston Tx in Galveston right before the Hurricane Katrina came to shore. This 6" thick slab has #4 steel (rebar) spaced every 12" on center each way (o.c.e.w.) and has #5 rebar (5/8") doweled and epoxied into the street every 12' ON CENTER. This microfiber reinforcement was intruduced into the ready mixed concrete onsite upon arrival. We used 10 bags of micro fiber )1 lb sack) per every 10 cubic yards mixed integrally offering a viable solution for crack control and sedimentary displacement
Here we are pouring out 100 cubic yards of 3,000 psi concrete with an 1-1/2" aggregate and 4" slump mix design in Katy Tx (just west of Houston) we poured out these 100 trucks sent over by allied concrete in just under 10 hours - a large portion was stamped(decorative concrete stamping) in a grand ashlar slate texture pattern with adobe buff intergral color hardeners and storm grey release agents with a 30% acrylic solids non yellowing non skid sealer - the site work and form up took 6 weeks and the concrete pour only took a day!
